 1.                                   1Peter 1:18-20

18.For you know that it was not with perishable things such as silver or gold that you were redeemed from the empty way of life handed down to you from your ancestors, 19 but with the precious blood of Christ, a lamb without blemish or defect. 20 He was chosen before the creation of the world but was revealed in these last times for your sake.

2. Richness is something which, we may be talk about and maybe even make someone celebrate person in the community. Having a stock of Gold, Sylva, diamond etc. is a good thing but the bible is clear by showing us that, all these are perishable things cannot in any way to redeem a person from ancestral bondages.

Only the precious blood of Jesus Christ can redeem and deliver a person from ancestral bondage. Jesus came for the only mission to redeem us from the bondage of sin committed by Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden, which had a strong consequence on any other human after Adam.

3. There is nothing bad in being rich or having gold or silver. The only thing is to know that all those things cannot redeem you from sins. There is only one name which brings to salvation and the name is JESUS. He come from heaven to earth through a woman though he was God up to the cross died and resurrected for your sake so that if you believe in him, you will not perish but have the Eternal life.

Jesus is the only who can deliver you. Jesus is the only one who can redeem you. Jesus is the only one who can heal you both physical and spiritual.

Jesus is the only one who has the right answer to your questions; he is the only one who has the durable solution to your problems. Jesus is the only one who loves you an unconditional love.

He wants to redeem you from all bondage from sins and this no matter how long it has taken in you. I encourage you today to make a good decision to follow him by giving your entire life to him and he is ready to make you a child of God.

He will forgive your sins and clean them, and he will make you a new creator.

Chantelle du Plessis ,  Heilbron, Free State South Africa    …   Email  My personal testimony what Jesus Christ has done in my life.  I grew up in a alcholic home where my Biological Mother and Father where always drunk and they abused us me and my brother.  Because they were alcoholics the welfare took us away and placed us in a foster home. In the foster home I had a opportunity to go and visit some kind people on weekends so that I can also see life outside the foster home. By the time I was 7 these people adopted me and I went to live with them.  But I never knew what my life would be like after I left the foster home…..  By the time I was 14 these people my foster parents. Used me to buy alcohol for them I had to date an older boy who was 18 at that time. By the time I was 16 I was also use to drinking with them and wasn’t proud of the person I was becoming. And I didn’t know what my future would be like.  My best friend at that time died of an overdose of drugs and my eyes opened and I realized I don’t want a life full of. Use and abuse by my foster parents and I ran away from home. I then stayed at friend of mine and I started to work and was self dependent. So I started to go to church and turned my life around. One day at church the pastor had an sermon on Jer 29 verse 11 and I was so encouraged and motivated to make this verse my life scripture. I trust God and believe in his son Jesus Christ. My faith alone in Christ alone has always motivated me to become what I am today.
